+ the bodhisattva strives to help sentient beings attain maturity, and does not become emotionally involved when such beings respond negatively.
i intended this to illustrate the archetype of "Strength" for a Tarot Handbook, but i hit a bump: the tiger seems to be biting the character, and while this goes well with the dhyāna virtue, higher Strength or perseverance should succeed in appeasing the primal beast. so, the new version will look much like this but with a tame tiger (and i'll fix the mudras, the Pantocrator one is a hang-up i have but looks out of place here )
the top half of the tiger was referenced from a tattoo by brazilian artist Mauricio Teodoro.
+glad to be doing stuff again and i'd like to get this done on myself sometime... or something like this.
updated it to credit the tiger reference. submitted as a print as well

Hi Daniel, nicely executed little drawing, it dose look like it's biting and it would make a good tattoo. If I was to say one thing that I wasn't so fussed with it would be the series of bumps that run down the spine onto the front of the leg then under the foot. I know what they all are but feel they are a little obvious and repetitive, almost like Homer Simpson after he fell down the canyon. This is just a feeling I have, please don't take it the wrong way.

+lol i saw that (again) a few days ago and yes, as i wrote in the description, i had a ref for the top part of the tiger, but from the left arm down i had to wing it... didn't do half-bad imo, but yes, there are those ridges that probably shouldn't go there good tip for the next version, wouldn't take it wrong so don't worry +

There is no greater feeling.
