| Daniel Campos was born in Concepción, Chile, in 1974. Between the years 1995 and 2006 he has been featured in numerous exhibitions, including one of the World Wide Web's first international art experiences of real-time broadcasting, which took place at the Royal College of Arts, UK (1996). The year 2002 he took part in the "Viento Sur" Cultural Center, which groups printmakers of the BíoBío Region, developing a winning project for the Cultural Initiatives Grant "New Ideas for a New Century". As a member of M.A.S. (Southern Artist Movement) he takes part of the urban intervention "(P)oda al árbol", at the Acevedo Square, Concepción. Also with M.A.S., he worked in the design, production and execution of the urban intervention project "Green Areas", winner of the regional Grant for the Development of the Arts FONDART 2002 and featured at the 14th Chilean Architecture Biennial and the 4th Iberoamerican Architecture Biennial of Lima, Perú. During the year 2003 he was part of the catorcecomauno art group, with poet Alan Muñoz and painters Carolina Strmelj and Luis Hidalgo. In the years 2004 and 2005 his work has spread through the world through his participation in various digital communities, being featured in e-publications, both national (such as the www.cibernetica.cl culture portal) and international. Among the latest, the northamerican art portal deviantART (www.stigmatattoo.deviantart.com) and e-magazines Phirebrush, Fading Silence and Panic-Vision, Nasionalmag (Indonesia), Sonitus Noctis (Mexico) and e-galleries Atlántico Sur (Argentina) and art500.ml (France).
